Recent Projects
Drama Workshop Leader, Volunteer, Papworth Trust.
Ben devised and ran a drama games workshop for adults with learning and physical disabilities at Papworth Trust in Ipswich, Suffolk. He structured the classes to promote teamwork, boost confidence and creative imagination and to strengthen individual and group development.
Training
At the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Ben studied classical acting at masters level.
The course focused on Shakespeare, Jacobean Drama and classical greek theatre.
Throughout the course , Ben worked with leading directors and practitioners, including; Chris Pickles, director and producer with Kenneth Branagh’s Renaissance Theatre Company; Liz Rankin, Movement Director for the Royal Shakespeare Company; Sarah Esdaile, former Associate Director of the West Yorkshire Playhouse and a masterclass with the late Cicely Berry O.B.E, Voice Director of the R.S.C.
Roles Ben Played include: Charles and Silvius in As You Like It; Antonio in The Duchess of Malfi; and Creon in Oedipus the King.
Text workshop performances include: Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing.
